With approximately 14,000 entries, the first closing of the World Dog Show 2026 has come to an end. The most important canine event of the year will take place at BolognaFiere from June 3 to 7.

The number of registrations at the first closing, across the various events included in the show, mirrors that of 2015, when Italian cynophilia last hosted the World Dog Show with great success. Therefore, the goal of matching the numbers and the experience of 2015 is no longer just a dream.

The organizational team is working with dedication to provide appropriate services for all attendees, and Italian cynophilia is once again responding in the best possible way.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, our first thanks go to the foreign Kennel Clubs, the Breed Clubs, and the Canine Groups which, in their respective fields, are actively promoting the event.

The passion of each individual breeder is doing the rest.

Considering the number of dogs that will be entered and the prestige of the 230 expert judges invited, this will certainly be an exhibition of the highest technical level—but not only that. World Dog Show 2026 will represent a great opportunity for every breeder to exchange ideas and further strengthen their experience, thanks to the dogs on show, the result of the finest selection, the focus on animal welfare as a non-negotiable value, and the presence of leading commercial companies showcasing their best products and services for the pet world. 

The second closing is scheduled for March 2. All useful information will be available through the dedicated communication channels.
