Rules
Please read the following rules carefully.
The health and well-being of dogs is always a priority at dog shows. The exhibitor is responsible for the well-being of his or her dog.

Only dogs registered in kennel clubs of countries recognized by the FCI can participate in the World Dog Show 2026.

Subjects with cropped ears cannot participate in dog shows in Italy.

Dog crates

Cages and dog crates must be placed exclusively in the areas indicated and marked with red markings.

For safety reasons it is prohibited to place cages, dog crates, tables and any other accessory in the areas of access to the halls and to the rings or near the emergency exits.

The organization may remove, without notice, equipment placed in unsuitable areas. Given the large number of dogs, it is recommended not to bring equipment that is not strictly essential into the pavilions.

It is not allowed to leave the cages, dog crates and any other equipment in the pavilions overnight.

We recommend maximum collaboration in maintaining the cleanliness of the surrounding areas and rings and using the appropriate containers as well as hurrying to clean any droppings of your dogs.

The Emilia Romagna Regional Health Service, with protocol no. 0140230, draws attention to the fact that “When not competing, dogs must be led on a leash no longer than 1.50 metres and not extendable, and handlers must have a muzzle to be applied if necessary. Alternatively, they can be kept in cages or kennels of a size that allows the dog to remain stationary with its head fully raised and to be able to lie down and turn around comfortably”.
